David initiated his career working in sales for a large Revenue Cycle company in 1987 and after a few years, he became a successful entrepreneur. He grew his medical billing company to over 100 employees in less than five years and sold it to Anthem. In 1998, David partnered with Greg Maccia, to open Medi-Corp, providing customized billing software solutions to multi-specialty groups. David is directly responsible for the performance and strategic direction of Medi-Corp. David works closely with the IT team to make sure the company’s technology is maximizing the highest return for our clients.
Greg is a co-founder of Medi-Corp and was part of its growth from startup to a national company in multiple states. Greg has owned and managed software and consulting companies in the medical field. Greg also co-founded and was involved in Medical Accounts Management Services, The Physician Network, Technology Services and other medical entities. Greg has written billing, collection and financial software that is being used by many large billing companies, physicians and standalone facilities. Greg and his team designed and programmed the back office and web systems in use at Medi-Corp and can customize it to each client’s needs. The IT team ensures Medi-Corp keeps up with technology by offering the latest in automation, cloud services, analytical reporting and access anywhere anytime.
Adis is an accomplished executive leader with over 27 years experience in healthcare administration, education, and compliance. She joined Medi-Corp in 2001 as the Executive Vice President. Currently, as the Chief Operating Officer at Medi-Corp, Adis is responsible for the global operations of the company. Her experience and leadership have been focused on new business venture, developing strong, collaborative partnerships with our clients, and providing outstanding client service.
With 20 years in healthcare operations and leadership experience, Caryn is a talented executive specializing in process development, implementations and business analytics. Joining Medi-Corp, Inc in 2013, Caryn spent the prior 15 years with a Fortune 5 company. Medi-Corp’s major accomplishments during her five year tenure includes high staff satisfaction, high-quality outcomes and revenue growth.
Michael is the Compliance Officer for Medi-Corp, INC and assisted with the development, implementation and monitoring of corporate compliance and HIPAA Privacy programs. Michael has over 10 years of experience in the healthcare industry and had previously been the IT Project Manager for ANSI X12 Version 5010 data conversion and enacting industry compliance standards for the HITECH Act.
Ginger has over 25 years of healthcare experience and joined Medi-Corp, Inc., in 2004. Her areas of expertise include the onboarding of new clients, daily operations, provider enrollment, contracting and client satisfaction. Ginger has been a pillar of knowledge to the company’s operations and for our clients. She is a visionary and policymaker proven to minimize risk potential to our clients and the company.
Theoli brings over 25 years project management experience to Medi-Corp. She has recently joined the company in 2018 and proven to be a valuable addition. Theoli specializes in effective communications and task distribution for a wide range of specialty fields. She is an innovative problem solver and collaborative manager and returns solutions for the company.
Denzel has been supporting the company’s IT service needs for 6 years. Creating HITECH file sharing options for clients, program licensure and cloud storage maintenance, server rollouts and distaste recovery action plans, Denzel has exceled within the technology industry and is a key stakeholder in our daily operations.
Marcy Garuccio ACS-AN, CANPC, CPMA, CPC, SME Director of Coding
Marcy a career that spans more than 30 years and is built on a strong anesthesia foundation. She was the president of Health Care Billing Associates for 20 years, an organization that began as a medical billing service for anesthesia practices and grew to include other physician and surgical specialties. She has also served as the administrative director for multiple anesthesia and pathology groups. She has been a regular speaker at Decision Health’s Advanced Specialty Coding, Compliance, and Reimbursement Symposium. She has also presented at AAPC’s 2021 HealthCon in Dallas as well as various AAPC local chapter meetings.
